A big demonstration called by Stop The War in Manchester that surrounded the Labour Party conference in protest at the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I put up posters that juxtaposed Tony Blair and George Bush with small images of dead Iraqi and Afghan civilians taken from the Internet. When I put these posters up in the Central Square by the rally Police Officers got agitated and had to check with their CO’s about whether it was alright for my to publically show images of the victims in those countries. In the end they relented.
