Videos made for the DEMO motion graphics festival submission. This festival shows Motion Graphics work on public screens in a number of cities. The idea was to have an interuption to the usual Ads with this Climate Emergency warning but to try get round the coporate censoring, make the message slightly astract, the ‘421’ refers to the parts per million of C02 in the atmosphere, Climate Scientists tell us that to be ‘safe’ this needs to be under 400, this limit was broken ten years ago. These were not chosen sadly, but as one of my first attempts a this type of Type animation, it’s an idea I will come back to.
